横浜のお部屋その2 -Room in Yokohama no.2-

先日取り上げた横浜の片倉町にある『cabina』の近くにある
『monte』202号室が空きました。
設計者は『cabina』と同じ、後藤正史アトリエの後藤正史氏です。

Room 202 of “monte” is now available.
It is really close to “cabina”
which was my last topic of apartment in Yokohama.
Designer is the same as the one of “cabina”,
Architect Tadashi Goto from Goto Tadashi Atelier.



三角の屋根が三つ並んでいるのが特徴的です。
北と南の向きに窓が面しているので、お部屋は日中常に明るい状態です。

Three triangular pointed roofs are
the charming point of this apartment.
As windows are facing to both South and North,
the room is always bright in daytime.



メゾネットですが、
一つの大きな空間にお風呂やキッチン等の水廻りを置いた作りで、
お部屋に一体感を感じられます。

The room formation is maisonette,
yet, you can feel the identification of the whole space
as the composition of the room is one big space
with a box of water supplies .



そのような空間の中で、
可動式家具やカーテンレール等を利用して区切ることで、
様々な使い方ができます。
お部屋を色々アレンジして気分で個性を創り出すのも、
賃貸だからこそできる醍醐味の一つですね。

You can separate into multiple spaces
with curtains or movable furniture.
It is your choice how you apply those spaces,
and this is one of the most exciting part of your
rental room experience.



ひとつ、面白い仕掛けをご紹介します。
洗面台の横にあるこの扉。

There is one interesting trick in this room.
A door at the side of water sink… guess what?



開けると洗濯機置き場に繋がっています。
脱衣所で脱いだ服をこの扉からポイッと洗濯機に放り込めます。
便利ですね。

It connects to the washing machine!
You can just through your clothes
into the machine from bathroom!
Isn’t this convenient?!
(or maybe not, as this might be already
common in states and Europe)
((besides, you cannot use this door
if your machine is drum type
… but never mind))



目の前には公園もあり、とても静かな住宅地です。
横浜から近いということで、外国人の方をよく見かけます。
是非一度内見してみて下さい。

There is a park in front of the apartment,
and the area is very quiet residential district.
As Katakuracho is 10 minutes by train from Yokohama,
foreigners are often seen on the street.
