1階のお部屋　-Ground floor room-

北山恒＋architecture WORKSHOPが設計した、
『vague』の一階のお部屋をご紹介します。
共用エントランスを入ると「え、これ集合住宅？！」と思わせるような、
空に抜けた気持ちの良い中庭が広がります。
一階は水盤の上の石を渡ってお部屋の玄関に入ります。

I would like to introduce ground floor room
of TPO’s rental housing called “vague”
which was designed by Koh Kitayama + architecture WORKSHOP.
Very open courtyard welcomes you at the common entrance,
and makes you impressed that the whole garden space
and buildings are actually housings.
You go across the stones on shallow water pool to get in the room.



手前に少しスペースがあって、キッチンを挟んで奥に一つお部屋があります。
仕切ってスタディ等として使ってもいいですし、
開け放して奥行きのあるワンルームとして使うのも広々使えて気持ちがいいです。

There is a enough space at the entrance,
and a 6㎡ room over the kitchen.
The room can be applied as an independent study room,
or you can take away screen in between to use as one big open space.



玄関ドアの横は一面ガラス窓です。
天井に高さがある上に窓から空が見えるので、
目線が上に抜けて実際よりも広く感じます。

Just right next to the entrance door,
there is a huge glass window.
As the ceiling is very high and sky can be seen from inside,
you feel the space much bigger than the actual volume.



階段を上がると6畳のお部屋があります。
お風呂場の横なのでベッドルームとして使ってもいいですし、
下と一体の空間になっているので
あえてこちらをスタディとして使うものありですね。
どの空間をどのように使うかは、入居者さんの個性が出るところです。

There is a 10㎡ room on the second floor.
This room can be utilized as bed room as is
placed next to the bathroom.
As the whole space from down stairs and up stairs are continuous,
applying the room as study room is a good idea also.
You can characterize these spaces in your own taste.



最後にお風呂場。
洗濯機を置く場所に特に囲い等はないので、
今流行りのドラム式の大きめ洗濯機も置けます。
全体的に白い空間なので、明るく、小物の色もよく映えます。

For last, this is bathroom.
You can bring in drum type washing machine
which is usually quite bigger than regular ones.
The space itself is very white,
so that you feel bright and also colorful things become so vivid.



この一階とは思えない位開放的なお部屋は
お二人入居も、事務所としての利用も可能です。
